You have a brand new underwater camera and housing. But before attempting to get those National Geographic pictures please make sure you are comfortable with your diving skills and buoyancy first. Using a camera can be distracting, and it can be too easy for a new diver to crash into the reef, or worse, float to the surface without knowing it.
Before going underwater, It really helps to familiarize yourself with your underwater photography equipment indoors. Try using it in low light settings and take a few photos with the camera inside the housing and various settings such as macro mode and flash on. Take photos of some small objects and see how your photos come out. Test out the range of the camera with macro mode on and off.
